Gotta get a copy of the story object, or write it down while you are at the game.

I'd really like to see the effects of story objects available online. We went through a lot of confusion when they were first introduced because everyone assumed they would be. Doesn't have to be public info, but maybe provide a link for characters that have them to read what they do.

The text of story objects ... or at least most of the text of them ... is printed out along with your character record.

The Factionmasters are aware that some of the Story Object descriptions are missing in the database. We will make that information available as soon as we can. We don't just want to post it publicly on a forum for all to see, but we have no other avenues of publication right now.

From now on, please write the details for each in your Adventure Journal. For those of you who didn't before because we all assumed you could just get it online, you have options. Get a copy of the adventure you played, and write them down. Contact your DM, if you know you DM, and ask him/her to provide the information. Contact another player who has the info and write it down. Contact a Factionmaster and they can provide the information. Please contact Factionmasters as a last resort, as we have a couple other small items on our plates right now. ;-)

Thanks,

Shawn

Speaking of which, how's that new Campaign Standards coming along? :D

We've given up on it. It was getting too complicated, so we decided that everyone had to play a human fighter. Your character name must be your RPGA number, and all of the adventures will be dungeons with a series of rooms in a straight line, inhabited by only large monstrous centipedes. You get 1 xp and 1 gp for each adventure, and instead of Story Objects, the PCs get rocks. Small rocks. Flat and smooth.

We hope you enjoy the campaign!

Its good to know that its being worked on. I might also note that this problem also extends into the MoH campaign, or more correctly, started there.

Holy crap, best campaign idea ever! 41047945 is gonna be such an awesome character. . . Do I have to use an expansion slot for the rocks?

no, since that campaign version wouldn't have a definiton of expansion slots.

We're gonna run into trouble if anyone gets wounded though, without access toi healing folks are just going to die

What's the range increment and damage for the smooth, flat rocks? are we proficient in them?

Those really deadly rocks... x20 crit multipier....

Ok, back to topic. If anyone requires story object descriptions, contact your DM and ask him what they are since he/she should still have the module and the reporting sheet detailing who got what.

If not, you can always pelt him/her with a flat smooth stone....
