I am new to XE and have a question...

What is the story with “Event Treasure Gained”? Are they items we can keep or what? I played in an event and the GM filled this out on my Adventure Record but I am not sure what need to do with it.

Thanks!

OK, really quickly, here's the explanation.

At the end of a Xen'drik Expeditions adventure, you do not get XP or treasure immediately. The event is reported with several questions answered by your DM, and the answers he gives to those questions goes into a database. Then you can check online to see what level your PC is, and how much equipment he can purchase.

This means if you play 5 XE adventures at the same event, you are playing that character without getting any more XP or treasure than he had when he started. HOWEVER, we wanted to make sure that the PCs got SOME benefit to take with them between adventures played at the same event. This is where Event Treasure comes in. Event Treasure is what you can take from one adventure to the next, if those adventures are being played at the same event. So if you play three adventures with the same character at GenCon, you can take the Event Treasure from Adventure #1 into Adventure #2, and you can take Event Treasure from Adventures #1 and #2 into Adventure #3. However, once GenCon is over, those Event Treasure goes away, and you can check your Character Tracker to see how much Equipment Value (EV) you now have to buy equipment before your next game.

Does that make sense?
