Getting credit for DM's Marks after running [Archive] - Wizards Community

I was wondering what the rules were on playing another DM's DM's Mark adventure after running one. I have been "eating" the CoL DM's Marks to run them for the local group. Recently, it's been ruled that we can play online, so I got the opportunity to play. However, when it was reported, I didn't get credit for playing the DM's Mark. I assume because I'd run one of my own before then.

Are you supposed to be able to play in someone else's DM's Mark after run one of your own? Or are you assumed to have "eaten" it once you've run it, even thought it's actually a different adventure?

Thanks,
Marcia

I am told that the issuse is fixed. The DM's Marks are under the same catagory as LG interactives and LG intro mods. You can play and judge that catagory as much as you like.... pretty much saying that it should work; you should be able to play a DM's Mark once even if you've judged it.

Guess it isn't really fixed or it got broken again

If the GMs are in different events, this still does not work as of July 29, 2007.

Thank you. When I run it I am teaming up with another GM and it will be reported as one event. That way we can both play and run it (assuming we can get two tables together).

I tried doing this recently and did not, in fact, get credit for playing in a DM's Mark that I ran earlier. The "trick" of running and playing at the same event still seems to work fine, though.
