I do not see where anyone can play an NPC class or not (I assume that this means no). But thanks. Does anyone have a suggestion that might replace a Commoner/Survivor/Horizon Walker Character???

12-16-06, 02:42 AM I'd suggest taking the Endurance feat either at first or third level and picking a base class that has Know(geography) on its skills list.

Off the top of my head, I even go as far as suggesting Ranger as the class since you wouldn't even have to lose a feat to pick up Endurance.

12-16-06, 03:19 AM Well, a ranger would mean that character was always tougher. He didn't start with nothing. Vow of Poverty would have helped, but it is not available to XE players. Oh well. I will have to use the concept in a nonRPGA game, but thanks for the input.

12-16-06, 10:24 AM You can't take NPC base classes, I will make sure that is spelled out more clearly in v2.0. Also, Savage Species is not on the list of apporved secondary sources, so you can't use anything from it.
