Level 1 Expantion slots [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-24-07, 02:18 PM I've dug for this, on the board and the rules pdf but I can't find the answer. How many expansion slots do you get at level 1? Lets say I wanted to play a Duskblade, I'd need 3 expansion slots at level 1 or if I wanted to play a ranger with the Shifter sub. levels I'd need 2 expansions. I understand I get 1 expansion everytime I gain a level but I'm lost about how many starting out.

04-24-07, 02:51 PM Read the Campaign standards carefully. You have 1 expantion slot per level. When you put something with a higher value than 1 it means you can't unlock anything for x lvls.

ie a class takes 3 expantion slots, so the 1st,2nd and 3rd lvl, so you can only unclock another thing on you 4th level.
For a 2 expantion thing you can't unlock anything until 3rd lvl and so on.
