Mis-assigned game play [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-07-08, 09:54 AM We Played Lich queen part 3 and 4.

There are some problems.

The part 3 stuff was assigned to at least 2 PCs, possibly more, wrongly. It went to the Codex faction instead of the Covenant. This may be user error, or may be a DB issue. Can it be fixed? What should one do?

Part 4 was assigned to the correct PC, but there are no certs assigned

I've submitted an appeal for my PC, but I never hear anything back. I PMed Tulach, and no response either

Does the GM need to do something, or do 5 players need to appeal?

THE108PA is the convention code.

02-07-08, 01:22 PM The Seinor GM for the event (you?) need to file the appeal.

I understand the appeals are in a week or two backlog.

Sending an alert to WotC_Tulach is the correct "next step" however it sounds like there are other issues with the database today (random events are being invalidated or marked delinquent) so it may take a day or two for Chris to reply.

The good news is, the cutoff for getting this corrected is the 20th, so there's still room to get this fixed (and Chris is pretty good about gearing up for a bunch of appeals in the last week before cutoff).

02-07-08, 02:06 PM Yes, file as WolfStar76 suggested. It can take a week or two for things to sort out so don't expect a response if its only been a few days. I am told that as we back up against the due date, they will spend more and more time fixing any errors, so I wouldn't panic for another week and a half.
