I ran a pair of mods today and reported the event. After reporting, one of the players pulled up their character and the story event for the DMs mark 4 was missing. How do I get this corrected as all my players should have gotten this. Also one of my players brought to my attention that last time I ran they were given a story object that they shouldn't have.

Thanks

File an appeal (Log in, go to 'Personal info and Memberships' or something; there's a link to 'Appeals' on the right hand side) and get the player or players affected to do the same.

You (the Senior GM) might like to email rpgasanctioning@wizards.com and/or PM WotC_Tulach here - Chris has been able to get these things fixed before, it appears.

Finally if you and/or the player(s) concerned contact Wizards' customer service (http://wizards.custhelp.com) then you might get something sorted. At least you'll get a response from someone confirming that they've read your message.

I'll here add a general request for the database to be developed to allow Senior GMs to re-open events after they've been reported to allow for them to correct mistakes they've made, or re-enter data that doesn't seem to have been recorded correctly by the system.

Sorry for the late addition to the thread.

I absolutely second all of pedr's advice in his post, as I've had to take those actions myself. My boyfriend has had to do the same. A few other folks in our area have commented they've had issues with ganked up story objects, but I don't think they've reported it.

I also think pedr has a great idea concerning the allowing of GMs with x number of reported games under their belts to reopen a reported game and correct a bookkeeping issue. My level-adjusted Codex character is missing not only a story object from a regional convention, but an entire faction mod. Bleah. :P

Another suggestion I highly recommend is keeping your adventure journal up-to-date. It's a great backup for when there's a discrepancy between what the DM told you your character earned and the online character tracker (as your player experienced, as I've experienced, as my boyfriend experienced, and perhaps others). Yeah, it's a lot of paperwork, but at least I've got proof my kitty played Tomb of Tomes.

You know what? It's time to practice what I preach. I got off my kiester and e-mailed RPGAsanctioning about my issue with my Codex character and her missing faction game. It's kind of a big deal to me that a game that *had* been there suddenly disappeared - especially since she's level-adjusted! My little catfolk bard needs all the experience she can get! :(

Should anyone else happen to read this thread and you notice you have missing story objects or, higher-being-forbid, a missing game, pleasepleaseplease take pedr's advice and report it! E-mail rpgasanctioning@wizards.com. E-mail customer service. Post here. Please. Think of the kittens.

I am missing story objects too, even though both my DMs swore they already reported them. :weep:

Don't bother e-mailing customer services.
Just e-mail rpgasanctioning. Then wait 2 weeks before hassling them again -at which point you can consider contacting Chris Tulach directly.

With Monday's deadline impending, we don't have 2 weeks to wait.

After this week the bump will kick in, and then records can't be changed anymore. Just FYI.

That said, I don't envy Mr. Tulach and his poor inbox right about this time tomorrow.

QFT. Although I hope all their problems will be feedbacked to someone higher up who can do something about the currently-sucky database.
