I finally looked at the fast plays and noticed that you can only "take one for the team" by playing a fighter, rogue, wizard, or cleric. HOWEVER, there is only one of each available and then only for a specific faction. Can you use those fast plays when "taking one for the team" for a different faction? If not, are there any plans to make "generic" wizard and cleric fast plays?

Also, how much can someone modify a fast play when taking one for the team? I usually allow players to alter spell selection and equipment, but nothing else when taking one for the team. Is that allowed? Anything else?

How about when making it their primary character? What does the player have to keep if they use the fast play to start their character? Can someone start with the drow sorceror and completely re-write it except for the race? If they alter the fast play do they get to keep the "unlock ability"?

Thanks
Marcia

They said they'll fix the No Generic Wizard and cleric problem shortly... but note that the Cleric sheet and filename aren't limited to the Covenant like everyone else (and it doesn't have the covenant Faction special ability printed on it)

The XE CS says "Note that is it perfectly legal to advance a fastplay character as if it were a created PC."
Thus you can use that as your base, but you can ONLY change your equipment, Thgat's the only thing you're allowed to retool in this campaign, so that's your option

Note that the Spells listed on the Cleric and druid are Prepared spells so those can be cahnged any time you can prepare spells (including before you start) but the arcane casters should be limited to knowing those spells (though any a Wizard purchases with EV should fall in the equipment category)
