New character - start at 7th or 10th? [Archive] - Wizards Community

I'm going to D&D Experience this year, and I'm trying the Xen'drik Expeditions, which currently say 7th level start point, but every adventure is optimized for 10th level characters. Is another level jump coming?

Either way, what level should I create my character at?

01-18-08, 11:17 PM The Level Bump for DDXP will be 10th. If you are starting a new PC at that time, make yourself 10th.

02-05-08, 08:24 AM You will want to download and read the Xen'drik Expeditions Campaign Standards 3.0, available at this page: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ebxe/welcome

The 4.0 Standards should be out within the next couple of weeks, but the 3.0 standards explain how to get access to game elements (feats, classes, prestige classes, spells, items, etc.) outside of the ones found in the PHB, DMG, and Eberron Campaign Sourcebook.
