| Butterface11-26-06, 05:06 PM | Dragonmarked Complete Mage Kiddoc, have you seen Dragonmarked yet? BWC NEEDS that book! My BWC game is made almost entirely of Dragonmark House characters. Also, Complete Mage has some very nifty stuff for warlocks - lots of feats based around heritage, be it fey or fiendish. It would be a nice addition for Cabal! I don't know what the process is for getting a new sourcebook ok'd for use, but these two are definitely worth looking at. (I realize these comments might have been more useful BEFORE the new CS was submitted to WotC, but hey, what can I say :) ). |
| Skerrit11-26-06, 06:16 PM | We have not seen Dragonmarked yet, so it will not be in the campaign (if at all) until the XECS 2.0 that comes out for DDXP. We have reviewed Complete Mage and those parts we deem appropriate are in the final version of the XECS 1.1 which I am told should be online this week. |
| Gurrangatch11-26-06, 10:34 PM | What about Faiths of Eberron? I don't think there was any official word about that in the CS 1.1 Draft thread. It came out before the CS 1.1 Draft thread was closed and was mentioned in it. I've just been assuming that it would be put on the secondary source list but something official would be nice. |

The book has such a wealth of info for those players who opt to go the route of dragonmarks. That being said, while I know that creation cards/faction access is required for true dragonmarks, but what of aberrant? I have fully planned on my CoS character taking nothing but Aberrant Dragonmark feats (thanks Dragonmarked!!) with the exception of one. Do Aberrant marks have their own creation card? |
| bertman411-27-06, 08:33 PM | The Aberrant Dragonmark feat itself is not restricted so you can take that. All the other feats from the sourcebook Dragonmarked that build on the Aberrant Dragonmark will have to wait until XECSv2.0 comes out. Bertman |

All the other feats from the sourcebook Dragonmarked that build on the Aberrant Dragonmark will have to wait until XECSv2.0 comes out. There are some Abberant Dragonmark feats in available sourcebooks (I totally forget which, the players guide maybe?), they aren't really that in depth, but its something one could take in the meantime while waiting for 2.0 to be approved. |
