Origins Thank You [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-03-06, 08:36 AM I wanted to thank all the judges and players who came and played Xen'drik Expeditions at the Origins preview. It was great to get the opportunity to talk to the players and judges, get feedback, answer questions, and even judge a few slots myself.

I'm looking forward to the big premiere at GenCon!

07-03-06, 07:33 PM I enjoyed the Blackwheel faction adventure at Origins. There was a good mix of roleplaying and combat, and it did a good job showing how the mercenary company works. I liked that it started out with a "training mission" before graduating on to the real adventure. I liked that at least one encounter could be solved by various means. I don't want to go into too much detail, because I don't want to spoil the game for anyone who plays it in the future.

07-05-06, 11:07 AM I didn't get in on the BWC session, but I did have the opportunity to play both the CoL and CC adventures, and have to say I had a great time with both.

I think I liked the CC module a teensy bit more, but the writing on both (and the bad pun I think I spotted in the CoL module) was very well done. Or at least, my GMs made it appear that way.
