At the end of faction 1 for BWC everyone got some items the DM called event treasure which were only good for the event. But when we played an expedition we found some other items that not everyone got, do those go away at the end of the event also? Or is it only if it is specifically event treasure? |

Event Treasure should be specifically mentioned in the adventure as Event Treasure. If you find it and it is NOT called Event Treasure, then it does not go with you to the next adventure, even if being played at the same event. "Well of Woe" is a special case since it is a three-round adventure. I have been allowing people to keep treasure found in Well of Woe from one round of that adventure through to the end, whether it is Event Treasure or not. All treasure, unless it is in a Story Object, goes away at the end of a full event, EVEN IF IT IS EVENT TREASURE. At the end of the event, it turns into Equipment Value that you find in your character tracker and can use to buy equipment before your next event. Shawn Crimson Codex Guy |

| smerwin2912-10-06, 08:08 PM | It gets automatically "sold" and divided up among the players. Here is how the campaign works, and it should answer all of your questions: At the end of the adventure, there are adventure questions that the DM answers and reports electronically based on how the game went. Each answer has a certain amount of XP and gp tied to it. After the game is reported and the questions answered, the players EV and level are updated in the database and displayed on the character tracker. The reason this is done is to take all the "bookkeeping" out of the game. No worries about dividing treasure equally, tracking every gold piece, etc. Just buy items with your equipment value before your next event and you're good to go. While this is obviously unlike a normal campaign would handle things, it is done so deliberately. Does that help? Shawn |
