| Blastin09-23-07, 07:42 PM | First off: I'm not a newbie to RPGA or the campaigns in general. I played LC until it died and then LG until about 8th level or so when my daughter was born (in 2003). Haven't played RPGA or gone to a con since. The idea of 4Th Ed has got me stoked enough that I'm probably gonna sell my sole to the devil (my Wife) and go to D&D XP so I can get in on the ground for the new Living campaign. All that said, I also want to try out Xen'drik. I LOVE Eberron and I would love the chance to play. I have never played in a "campaigns" game, and I believe that my first opportunity will be at the XP. I have looked over the campaign docs and think it looks cool. I made up a 7th level character. My questions are: will there probably be another level bump by XP? Should I just wait until then to make up a character? Any suggestions for someone new to the campaign? Thanks |

I'm going to be setting up a group to play every 3-4 weeks or so and want to run them through as much XE as possible. It's good times, hope that you enjoy it as well! - warfteiner. |

Trust me here. ;) In order to start, I highly suggest signing up to an outside email list like OnlineGameDay at yahoogroups. Also, you may wish to look at warhorn.net and browse their listed online game links (such as AdhocOnlineGameday, among others). Download and install OpenRPG - it's free and self-updates as needed - and perhaps Ventrilo or Teamspeak (if your DM needs them). And... that's about it. Be patient, as online games can sometimes take a bit longer. It's good times though. :) - warfteiner. |
