Questions about Campaign Cards [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-11-08, 11:38 AM Question #1: Can a neutral evil character from the Cabal of Shadows put Dark Sympathy on his stack of campaign cards even though he does not qualify? I'm under the impression that the prereqs only concern the specific ability of the campaign card rather then it's use as a place holder to increase your action points.

Question #2: What will happen to our cards in 4th Edition? Most of the cards do seem generic enough to make it into 4th Edition without any change, except perhaps for those concerning skills. I hope the cards I've earned until now won't become useless in the 4E campaigns...

01-11-08, 09:42 PM 1) Sure. Anyone can use a card as a place holder for the number on the card. The pre-reqs are for the ability.

2) The is up to whomever runs those campaigns. XE ends at Origins before 4th Ed comes out.

01-14-08, 04:22 PM The question about cards was also asked in RPGA General (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=974620) and the reply was that the cards will no longer be valid and we'll be getting new 4E cards.
