I'm gming a new artificer in a crimson codex dms mark this week:

1. What's the "cash on hand' calculation on the MoH sheets, and is it used in xen'drik? What do PCs pay for incidentals with?

2. Can you make mundane items like alchemist fire?

3. If the consumable item packages cost 2 expansion slots, can you actually take it at first level and buy somthing? (usable at 1st says yes, takes 2 slots says no, since you don't have slot 2 yet)

4. MOH expansion sheet blacks out the expansion slot. what to do?

5. So at first level you have extra craft gold of 100 gp. You buy a scroll or 2. Second level you have extra craft gold of the 100 + 200 for second level? Or just 200. And then you retool your equipment and buy 5 different scrolls? Is that right?

6. There has not been an official annoucement to no longer carry event treasure. So do we still carry event treasure?

7. If you have a crimson codex glyphbook do you still need 1 rank in decipher script to get the use of it as a research library and knowledge skill bonus?

moe later?

1. I don't think XE uses cash on hand. At least, I don't see anything in the XE Campaign Standards that mentions cash on hand.

2. PCs don't "make" anything. But ranks in Craft skills give you bonus gp to add to yoiur EV. So, you can buy the mundane item with the bonus gp and say you made it.

3. Yes, you can buy something at 1st level. The package just takes up two slots.

4. Ummm....use white out? Seriously, I don't really know, but just remember that you do get an expansion slot at 1st level.

5. The amount is total, not cumulative. So 100 becomes 200 (not 300) and you retool your equipment.

6. I think it is supposed to be gone now. I haven't seen an announcment either, but it said that it would disappear before GenCon. Still, I would hold out for a more official answer on this one.

7. Not sure, need to read up on it.

Hope this helps.
