Factionmasters,
Thank you very much for getting the CS1.1 out and helping us interpret it. We really appreciate all you've done. I wanted to ask about the upcoming retool.
I've seen mention that a retool would be possible after CS1.1, and I have a blackwheel game coming up. The prestige class that I was working toward changed in the CS1.1, so I'd like to change to a different character.
Can you give us any idea about the level of the retool? I know it was mentioned that some retool document would be up on the XE site soon, but can you give us some basics?
Can we change a creation card that's in the system? Can we change race? class? feats? Where is the line drawn?

Thanks.

At this point, we're waiting on some details. I hope to have a web article up in the near future once we better understand what can be done able those properties (race, class, card) already registered for existing PCs.

This is along the same lines as a problem I have - I registered a Psiforged Psion for Codex which I played for the first 2 games. Than at GenCon Indy I received the Adventuring Prodigy card and decided to retire the Psion in favor of a Shifter Barbarian heading towards Dragon Disciple.

However, I have been unable to retire the Psion in order to replace it with the Shifter. All emails have been unanswered so I've been playing the Shifter subtracting the EV I had prior to Indy.

Frobi PM me with your name, RPGA #, and all the details of what happens when you try to retire your PC and I will have it fixed.

What's the status of those of us with recently illegalized chars until the retool? Can I play with my level two that has both a level 1 feat unlock and a level 2 spell unlock until you get the retool worked out?

I have submitted a web article to be posted. Basically the gist of it will be, adjust yourself to the new rules now.
