Retooling ? [Archive] - Wizards Community

I've DMed almost every adventure in MoH (i've missed a couple of DM's mark) and I will begin a XE campaign soon. I have some questions about retooling compaired to MoH

In Xen'drick Expeditions, what can and cannot be retooled in a character sheet between sessions ?

Is everything listed in the adventure journal (Stats, Feats, Domains, Skills, etc.) locked and cannot be retooled between sessions (unlike in Mark of Heroes where everything except class, race, creation card and Expansion list could be retooled) ?

Are the equipement and Campaign cards stack the only things customizable between sessions ?

Thanks a lot. From what I've read on the forum, the XE community and the factionmasters seems like a great bunch of passionate people.It's nice to witness and be a part of it !! :)

That's pretty much the intent. I suspect that there will be a limited "mulligan" after the next campaign standards are released. There are a few things that appear to be legal, that won't be. I imagine you can retool because of those clarifications, but that will be it.

10-03-06, 09:04 AM You are correct, we will allow some retooling after the complete versio of the CS comes out but after that, the only thing that can be retooled is equipment. Nothing else.

This will be a big change for the players but a lot less worry for me, the DM.
I almost always have the same players at home so It will be easier to memorize my players's characters. Event though it is a little more paper work. :)

10-03-06, 11:09 PM It's also sort of less of a hassle for players too, albeit players have to be careful not to sacrifice too much in the short run to reap long run benefits. You have to stay useful on a continuous basis.

10-17-06, 04:25 PM So after the new CS is release we can change some of the feats?
I wanted to put one feat in my PC but since it isn't in the CS I won't then the feat is made oficial to use, can I chance? If i can't that would leave older PCs in a disadvange.
