SoCal Gencon XE [Archive] - Wizards Community

Well I am going to SoCal Gencon tomorrow and I am planning on doing lots of XE.
Only problem is, I dont see Well of Woe on the schedule.

The open games are all 4 faction adventures
1)CBL-3 Khyber's Children
2)CDX-3 Native Intelligence
3)CMP-3 Marked man
4)CVN-3 The Good Die Young

and EXE-2
5)EXE-2 Mere of Shattered Souls

So I am worried I am missing some key story arc as well sa EXE-1, whatever that may be.

Is this something that missing will severly detract from my game experience?
Also, why didnt we get a chance to run Well of Woe at SC Gencon?

11-15-06, 09:43 PM If you have played the first two faction mods for each faction, you should be good to play what is being offered at SoCal. You aren't missing anything by playing those before playing Well of Woe.

As to why not run Well of Woe at SoCal? Because we want to give more adventures rather than less.

Only some of the Mark of Heroes games.

11-21-06, 05:05 AM I really enjoyed playing in Cabal of Shadows 3, Blackwheel Company 3 and XE Mere of Shattered Souls down at Gen Con So Cal. My play results have even already been posted. My only complaint there is that apparently my judge for Cabal of Shadows 3 didn't post any certs at all for the adventure, and we successfully completed all major goals and my obscura goal was completed as well.

11-21-06, 09:04 AM Did you note the certs you should have gotten in your Adventure Journal? If you did, not harm. That's the redundancy of the system designed specifically to protect the player. If you didn't fill out your adventure journal, well, then you need to try to contact all the players and the judge and fill out the online reporting descrepency form/email and hope someone gets to it.

11-21-06, 10:03 AM I played Mere of Shattered Souls at Gencon. I received the cert on my character tracker, but my gold has not yet increased. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

11-24-06, 11:18 AM How does the release schedule work for the scenarios that debuted at GenCon SoCal? Will we be able to play them in home games before the level bump?
