For adding prestige classes to our availible options, how exactly would it work if the prestige class is tied to a specific diety not in eberron? I was thinking of a favored soul going into Vassal of Bahamut from the Book of Exalted Deeds, but Bahamut isn't in Ebberon.

Right now we are not sure how those special cases are going to work. I think that there is going to be an Eberron book coming out somewhere in the foreseeable future that deals with faiths of Eberron, and Tiamat/Bahamut may be dealt with in that.

A bigger problem is that the Book of Exalted Deeds is not an expanded source for this campaign, so you won't be able to take anything from that book without campaign documentation (either campaign cards or story objects).

True, BoED is not an expanded source, but there are similar non-restricted prestige classes from authorized expanded sources that need to be looked at, such as Champion of Corellon Larethian from RotW.
