| Lightblade10-03-06, 03:36 PM | What's the policy for spells with costly material components? Should we just set aside some gold for that purpose? Must we set aside 5x gold? Does the GM mark it off as gold lost on the reporting sheet? I'm just asking because my CoL character might start casting Lesser Planar Ally at Gen Con Indy 07, and i was wondering how the bargaining would work. (It's not really a costly material component, but it sort of goes along the same lines.) Maybe you already thought of it. I'm just throwing it out there. |
| Errean10-05-06, 09:40 AM | This looks like a good question. I would think that costly material components should cost 5x as much as their printed value. But I would like to hear the response that someone of authority has to this. How will we be handling Planar Ally spells and the like? |
