| smerwin2910-17-06, 09:51 AM | Just to save everyone from starting new threads and asking the same questions: We are aware that there are not Story Object codes for the second Faction adventures. The person at the RPGA who was supposed to add the codes to the mods quit without doing it, and he just slapped the logo on the mods and sent them out. We do not want to just post the codes to the forum for obvious reasons. So if you need the codes, send an email or a private message (PM) to the Factionmaster in question, and he will supply you with the codes. Thanks for your cooperation, Shawn Crimson Codex Guy |

| quizboy10-24-06, 03:23 PM | When I DM'd, I passed out the story objects on small pieces of paper cut out for people to tape to their AJs. Other DMs around here have been doing the same thing. I'd just read here in the forums that "When the Database is repaired and lists the scenarios noted below, and gives xp and gp to the PC, all players will be required to adjust their totals to reflect the database numbers instead." If the DM couldn't report the Story Object when the game was reported, then the database will never have the correct information for the player. If the database is the default place for xp and gold, I'd expect it to pull some weight as the default for story objects as well. My personal hope is that the AJs will supercede the database in many matters because if the database has been unreliable for 2.5 months (or more), then there are a lot of things that could have happened to mess players up (unreported mods, story objects, missed questions, and the list goes on and on...). I've only had to have my database entry fixed once, but it took months and was _exteremely_ difficult to get done. --Steven |
