| Kelvane02-26-08, 03:17 AM | When I open my Cabal character who has played everything I am unable to see the story object text. I get the play history and the following message. Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113' Script timed out /rpgaweb/external/charprint.asp The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server. ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administation tools. Has anyone else had this problem? |
| WolfStar7602-26-08, 07:03 AM | It *sounds* like the server was having a hiccup when you tried to check your character. I'd try contacting customer service if its still doing it this later this morning. |
| Tabiani02-26-08, 12:28 PM | I was able to display and print the story object pages. I still don't have the level bump applied but I'm guessing that won't cause too much confusion if it isn't finished by tomorrow. |
| Malicea02-26-08, 03:40 PM | I have experienced this problem as well. It's always taken a long time to load that page, but now it seems it's gotten to a length where it times out. |
| quizboy03-24-08, 03:19 PM | Has this issue been reported to HQ? Is anyone else still having this problem? I'm still having issues getting access to the printout for my character that has played everything. I've tried mulitple machines and different internet connections, but none of them work. --Steven |
| Skerrit03-24-08, 07:07 PM | We can forward these notes on to HQ (and do) but it is also important that you email customer service along with as much detail as you can provide aout the error so they know the extent of the problem. |

| quizboy03-26-08, 09:17 AM | I got a repsonse back from customer service! This is the first time in years I've received a message from them. ------------ Thanks for writing in. Indeed, we are aware that several players are having this issue. The problem is known and we are currently working on a fix. I am afraid I do not have any further information. We appreciate your patience in this matter, and we will attempt to solve it as quickly as possible. Happy gaming! ---------- Sounds good. |
| quizboy05-05-08, 10:25 AM | Well, I'm still having the same issue. Is anyone else still having this problem? --Steven |
| Skerrit05-06-08, 04:25 PM | I'm going to ask the silly question, but, did you register your PC? I know you can't print your story objects if you don't register. |
| quizboy05-12-08, 07:33 PM | Yes, my PC is registered. I have been able to print out a character tracker for the life of the campaign. It's just that last Jan/Feb, I started seeing this issue. It only occurs with my Codex character that has played everything. My other characters don't have this issue. I also spoke to my gaming group. They didn't think they were having this issue, but when three of us sat down to check it out yesterday, all of us had the same issue. The script timed out, and we got the same error listed above. I have tried four different OS's, 8 different browsers, three different internet access locations, and all have the same issue. Customer Service said they were working on it (3-25-08) when I submitted a ticket, but I don't see it getting fixed. I have one possible work around. It seems that one of the people at my table had accessed the character tracker print out on Saturday night about 2am, and it worked for her (she had the printout to prove it!). So if you are having this issue, try it at 2am. (I have not confirmed this work around.) --Steven |
