Neither of these domains appear to be available in XE. They are from Sandstorm and are not in the Spell Compendium or ECS. The no deity option for Clerics allows you to select from the Spell Compendium so that doesn't allow access. Any solutions? Second question: The example they give in the description of the class is a 5th level druid/9th level Walker. 5th level druid will only net you 2 spells in the Sand domain and one in Thirst. Does that imply that a cleric with the Sand and Thirst Domains could start this PrC at 3rd level. They would have four spells combined from the two domains. The Walker in the Waste is pretty much my whole character idea, so if there is no solution to the domains issue I need to punt. Tilloch |

Just the spells you cast have to show up in that domain. That's how the Druid in the example can qualify. That said, you couldn't start at 3rd, cause I know there's even more restriction that just casting the spells. |

That said, you couldn't start at 3rd, cause I know there's even more restriction that just casting the spells. The additonal restrictions are "any nongood" alignment and Heat Endurance. Both are easily acheivable by 3rd level, especially by an Asherati (Heat Endurance as a racial bonus feat). I was thinking that all three spells needed to come from only one of the domains. That would require a minimum 5th level cleric which seems to be the level where most other PrC's can be acheived. That is not true with the example given in Sandstorm though. While the druid is 5th level, she has three spells spread across both of the domains instead of all three spells coming from one of the domains. Tilloch |
