Why are the post Well of Woe Adventures available for play before the Well of Woe is available? I registered the events for October, and the adventures make reference to the Well of Woe.

Also, none of the Dm's Marks for October are available for download. It is only 2 weeks until they are to be run, and no guidelines are available.

Yeah I kind of wondered this as well. BWC's DM's Mark 1 gives a well of woe related adventure idea - but Well of Woe isn't available for a while for home play, whereas post Well of Woe games will be available before then. My group wasn't going to run Well of Woe anyway (most of us played it at Dragon*con), but still, it seemed kind of odd. The timeline for the adventures seems to not quite coincide with when they're available for play.

Because Well of Woe is part of the expanded premier program. That pushes it's availability back for all types of events.

I wonder if the folks at the RPGA have done a cost/benefit analysis of how much this boosts attendance at conventions versus how much it annoys the player base who don't have the time or money to attend cons.

I doubt it. The extended premier program isn't a big deal for liviing greyhawk, where the players have access to other modules, but really impacts Xendrik and Mark of Heroes due to the limited number of modules.

One thing to keep in mind, even though WoW home play doesn't start until after the Second round mods expires (and which chronologically are after WoW), Game day play starts Dec. 1st and Retail play Starts Nov. 1st, so it is possible to get WoW in for your group before you do the second round mods.

More interestingly, for a Home Play you can only order 2 modules for a play event.

Well of Woe is 3 mods - so you have to schedule two separate events to play it at home. :P
