What year is it? [Archive] - Wizards Community

Are we keeping to a 1 year = 1 year timeframe?

Have we hit 1000 Yk yet? How were the parties?

But that's the geek in me. I'd like to see the syncrhonisity of what The Covenant is doing while Blackwheel is off in the jungles. Exactly what night WAS the Night of Shadows? Was that going on while the Codex was in diplomatic relations?

That kinda thing intruiges me.

Of course, some people play things out-of-order, so it may hurt more than it helps. Perhaps a timeline after the fact - in each end-of-chapter round-up. :)

07-30-07, 11:40 AM I'd love a timeline. The date could be provided to the DM and used as a guideline for his module. If it's a con, they could use a set date, but at home the GM could adapt it slightly.

I agree that it would be neat to know when the Korranberg Affair happened and what date the Night of Shadows occured.

08-01-07, 01:08 AM The only references to dates are in CC 1, CoS 1, CoL 4 and CoL 5 that I have noticed.

In CC1 and CoS2, we are shown Stormrider's Chapbook 998.
There exists a Reward card of the 999YK edition of the Chapbook
In CoL 4, we are told it is Winter Festival
In CoL 5, We are told the disappearance of Mianaara happened 2 years ago. Cryheart's journal lists this event as Olarune 4th, 997 YK

I have no conclusive proof, but there's still a likely chance we're in 999YK but a small chance that we're actually in 1000YK
