It seems like it adds a further player of work and delay in getting games reported, as the DM has to email everyone what they want and then hear back before reporting the game. It seems like it would be a lot smoother if we just got certain story objects depending on our performance. |
| Harliquinn12-19-06, 01:05 PM | The Story Objects are suppose to be obtained by what you do/don't do in an adventure. There are few that I've seen that you get to 'pick' even if you don't do something. However, some of the earlier adventures had more than 2 story objects that the player's could qualify for. Unfortunately the system for recording events only allows 2 story objects per adventure. Therefore, for the first few modules the DM had to ask the player's which they wanted (If they qualified and obtained more than 2). Other than that situation, there really isn't any 'asking the players' part of giving out Story Objects. The player(s) either performed the prerequisite and got the object or they did not.
