| bluemage5505-04-07, 09:39 PM | There's the Wield Oversized Weapon epic feat from Complete Warrior that covers both of these. |
| Yodasatomicweed05-04-07, 10:06 PM | Yea, but I thought that one had penalties. This one has no penalties. |
| NoldorForce05-04-07, 10:15 PM | Wield Oversized Weapon has no penalties. However, its non-epic version, Monkey Grip, does incur a penalty. Both are considered to not be worth it unless you can get the weapon in question to be fairly large. Given animated shields, there's not all that much point in being able to use such equipment one-handed when you get more benefit from Power Attack with two-handed weapons. |
| Yodasatomicweed05-04-07, 10:24 PM | My bad then, I was thinking of Monkey Grip, and all the horrible things I've heard about it. |
| rob_douglas05-08-07, 04:15 PM | And even if Wield Oversize didn't do quite what this wanted, I would instead make it so that it had Wield Oversize as a prereq, and that it allowed you to pick any of the weapons in both feats. It really doesn't make sense to have to take the first feat if what you really want is to wield a weapon from the second group. You would be wasting a feat for no benefit, assuming your goal was to wield a particular weapon - unless you change half-way through. However, as noted, Wield Oversize Weapon already allows you to do this. ROB |
