| Tequila_Sunrise10-21-07, 02:09 AM | In another thread the subject of applying alignments to societies came up and I pointed out that even if a DM chooses to apply alignments to his/her fantasy societies, it's never going to matter because there are no mechanics or effects that deal with such. But wouldn't it be interesting if there were? Can you imagine an epic level protection from evil or holy word spell that applied to entire societies rather than individuals? How would it affect the game world? The game's cosmology? How powerful would a caster have to be to cast such spells and what effects would they have? |

Well, protection from evil society would apply perfectly well to give one individual protection from evil societies. Then put that in a mythal or something. Could work. |
