Zalakhiel 03-18-07, 06:18 AM	We have a lvl 20 human Warlock in my party who wants to become a Dragon Disciple. He has maxed his Knowledge (Arcana) ranks, he knows the Draconic language, but the PrC states that to qualify you must be able to cast spells without preparation. Do his invocations count as such? If he does become one, will he gain more invocations as he advances as a Dragon Disciple? Please enlighten me...!:confused:
CantripN 03-18-07, 07:28 AM	I'm not sure, but I'm inclined to say no, sadly, due to this: Spellcasting Ability to cast arcane spells without preparation. Regardless, the player is foolish to give up the bonus feats in EPIC. An EPIC Warlock's feats are quite awesome. Really, they are almost as good as actual 9th level spells.

WarDragon 03-18-07, 05:20 PM	Technically, no. However, the DM (you) allowing them to qualify regardless of that rule would not be unbalanced or illogical in the least, as long as he's role-played some kind of dragon heritage beforehand.
