Depending on the answer to that, if you can turn it off like spell resistance, is it still "on" when you are unconscious?. If I am unconscious, I still want to be warded or reflect spells, but I would also want to be able to let healing spells in, but it seems to me it has to work one way or other, as you can not control it at that point. I would assume it is turned off when you are dead... but I am not sure about that either now. I have not been able to find anything in the rules or other threads that address this, as I am guessing this has been answered. Can anyone point me to a thread or have a ruling? I am interested in both the official ruling and opinions. Though I would like to know both. I have a tendency to think it does exactly what you need it to do (keeps out or reflects what you do not want and lets in what you want). |

Fortify can give you SR, which you could lower. Same with Reflect - it is based off Spell Turning, and that does not allow you to turn it off. The real question on Reflect is whether to allow touch spells. Those are not turned by spell turning, so I don't think Reflect should do them - unless you set it up to reflect attacks, then it would.
