| IceyReed01-10-08, 09:31 PM | so if a druid wild shapes into a phoenix and uses immolate do they come back to life at the end of the round? |
| Mrloki01-10-08, 09:47 PM | With what the phoenix is, I would rule that a different phoenix is born in its stead, because the same phoenix doesn't come back to life, it gives its life to form a new one. |
| rob_douglas01-11-08, 11:53 AM | I think that when the Druid "dies" his wild shape ends, therefore he is no longer a phoenix and can't "come back". ROB |
| IceyReed01-11-08, 10:36 PM | yeah that's whats i figured but i wanted to see if i could find a way to make another unkillable character |
| ZiggZagg01-12-08, 12:15 AM | Might I ask how exactly you made the first one? Just curious. |
| IceyReed01-12-08, 05:17 PM | 6 lvls of druid 10 lvls of master of many forms(complete adv.) and 9 lvls of crimson scurge(cityscape) and then take the epic feat energy resistance acid twice and then turn into a war troll the crimson makes you immune to subduel damage and the war troll only takes regular damage from acid so its not really unkillable but damn near. |
| ZiggZagg01-12-08, 05:37 PM | Hmmm not a bad idea |

Wow it's a way around the drawbacks of the undead regeneration build. Any half-elemental trickery that would help here? |

| SirGeshko01-28-08, 04:27 PM | Might I ask how exactly you made the first one? Just curious. Probably with an adapted Planar Shephard (Faiths of Ebberon) and a particular DM's cosmology that lists them as magical beast residents of a particular plane. Although I'm not sure how he would have gotten the (Su) ability of the Phoenix, as only the Elemental/Outsider Wild Shape gained at 9th level of that class bestows Ex, Sp, and Su abilities. Everything else I know of is just Ex abilities (MoMF, Enhance Wildshape, etc). |
| ikki01-28-08, 08:15 PM | i actually have a wacky idea... yes, coming back... but now phoenix is the druids base race :D |
