danste01 03-21-08, 08:13 PM	Ok I know I can have access to the 7 lvl spell for the bard with the right feat. But what are they? is there a list? Or I mist something?:confused:
NoldorForce 03-21-08, 08:43 PM	There are no 7th-level bard spells. Perhaps there should be (metamagic only goes so far), but there aren't. The purposes of Improved Spell Capacity are: -Grant more spell slots. You only get one slot to start with, but you can also get bonus slots from a high ability score, which you're likely to have in epic by the time you take the Nth Improved Spell Capacity feat. -Allow for bigger metamagics. Without mitigating or eliminating the normal costs, something like Persistent Extended Superior Invisibility requires a 15th-level slot. Even Persistent Divine Power requires a 10th-level slot for clerics. -Fulfill the requirements for Epic Spellcasting. A good chunk of all full-casting classes still don't go up to 9th-level spells, which is what Epic Spellcasting requires. But with three Improved Spell Capacity feats on a bard, such a character now can effectively cast 9th-level spells and fulfill that requirement.

rob_douglas 03-23-08, 08:54 PM	There are 2 more options for dealing with ISC with bards (and any other class). You need to discuss them with your DM, but... 1) Create another feat to grant an expanded spell list. Taking this feat grants you a list of DM determined 7th-9th level spells. This would make you need to take 2 feats to use ISC most effectively. 2) (this is my personal favorite, as I think it is more than fair in Epic levels for a non-prime caster who takes ISC): Use the Spell research rules to research particular spells you think would work well for a bard.
