Epic Druid PrC [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-12-07, 05:49 PM does anybody know of an awesome Epic Druid PrC??. i know Dragon 297 had one, but it's mostly combat oriented.

what i'm looking for is a PrC that expands all of a druid's typical abilities, creating basically an uber druid, something along the lines of a force of nature.

this obviously doesn't need to be official as i believe the World Guardian was the only Druid/Ranger PrC that's official.

03-12-07, 05:53 PM Why not continue taking epic druid levels? After all, what can be more uber druid than . . . druid levels?

If what you're really looking for is just a broken class that is just like the druid class but better in every way . . . just forget about it.

The point of a prestige class is to take you in a new direction or to emphasize a certain aspect of the class over another. No prestige class is supposed to just be strictly better, or else no one would bother not taking the class.

03-12-07, 06:17 PM what i'm looking for is something that let turn's a druid into a real force of nature kinda character. plan druid levels don't do that. sure you can wild shape into all sorts of things, from ants to dragons and more, but that's not what i'm talking about.

think more along the line's of Storm from Xmen, coupled with Crystal from the Inhumans, plus druidy goodness.

03-12-07, 07:10 PM So why don't you just play a druid and use those bonus feats on the appropriate epic feats?

There are wild shaping feats for the shapeshifting, you can take a Improved Metamagic and other useful spellcasting feats to up your blasting, and the class brings with it the normal druidy goodness.

It just so happens I am in the process of playing a Combat oriented Druid, so needless to say your refrence has caught my eye.

03-13-07, 08:47 PM I don't know of any good epic druid PrClasses, except if someone out there made a epic progression for dragger spell shaper.

The 9th level spell shapechange is your friend till you get to the levels where you can take the good epic wild shape classes. Too bad wizards nefed it somewhat in the PHB errata, but it's still a good spell. I just liked the 2xHD instead of HD, it's a 9th level spell! Anyway that is a rant for another day.
