| GaiusIuliusCaesar03-13-07, 06:34 PM | I need some sujestions for a Epic Iaijutsu master build, ok this charecter will 24th level since thats when he can take epic Iaijutsu focus, but anyway. I need something to take for the levels 17-20 that can take advantage of this characters gigantic charisma. It would be paladin but this character is LE or LN so thats out of the question. And all of the various evil paladin varients are pretty terrible. A friend of mine sugested some figther or rouge levels, fighter for feats and rouge for skill points and a tiny bit of sneak attack. At 21 he starts the epic Iaijutsu master progression, but any other ideas? This is taking place on toril, it's in faerun but he is from Kozakura in Kara-tur. |

| GaiusIuliusCaesar03-13-07, 07:11 PM | It's not really a rouge class, it's actually a samurai/fighter pestige class from Oriental Adventures. Basically Iaijutsu is a subset of kenjutsu which it martial art of using a katana. Anyway, Iaijutsu is art of attacking durring the motion of drawing the katana. There is a skill in the OA book called Iaijutsu Focus which allows you to deal extra damage durring a Iaijutsu duel(((iajutsu focus check -10)/5)d6 extra damage) . To do it you oponent has to be flat footed. Iaijutsu masters use Iaijutsu in combat. It's a 10 levels. The bigest thing is Iaijutsu masterseventually get to add their charisma mod to damage for each die of extra iaijutsu damage they do. They also get to add their intelligence modifer to their dex modifer for AC when they aren't wearing armor, and their Chrisma modifer to the dex for initive. They have few other tricks but the extra damage is the big one. So they go first(because of the massive modifer to initive) hit their opontent, do massive damage, and the rest of comabt are a ok but not a great fighter. Wizards has article with a epic progression for it on the d&d website. |

| Jaerom Darkwind03-13-07, 10:02 PM | Definitely. As a plus, you can blind people with the brightness of your clothing. |
| Aluroon03-13-07, 10:04 PM | Definitely. As a plus, you can blind people with the brightness of your clothing. And your lips :) |
