The formula is previous minimum XP cost + 80, then add that new figure to the current minimum XP cost. Starting at level 1 the XP cost is 40 and for level 2, 80 is added to 40 to make 120. 120 is then added to 40 to get 160. For level 3, add 80 to 120 to get 200, then add 200 to 160 to get 360. For level 4, add 80 to 200 to get 280,and then add 280 to 360 to get 640, etc. The only problem I see is that the XP cost is going to be incredibly huge as it progresses, so I was wondering if there should be a cap or something. Maybe stop the XP cost increase at level 20 or have it rise very slowly afterward. Weapon Minimum Bonus XP Cost +1 40 +2 160 +3 360 +4 640 +5 1000 +6 1440 +7 1960 +8 2560 +9 3240 +10 4000 +11 4840 +12 5760 +13 6760 +14 7840 +15 9000 +16 10240 +17 11560 +18 12960 +19 14440 +20 16000 |

Any weapon with a +11 bonus equivalent or greater, or a +6 enhancemenet bonus or greater, would be an epic item and have a x10 modifier on the market price. Thus, a +11 equivalent weapon would have an experience point cost of 11*11*20000 * 1/25 = 96,800 xp. If you were creating a weapon with a +6 enhancement bonus only, the xp cost would be 6*6*20000 * 1/25 = 28,800 xp. |
