It makes the target flat-footed for the first attack, which makes them eligible for SA damage. As far as armor goes, go for a mithril chain shirt, which will have no Armor Check Penalty, and add on enhancements that make you immune to loads of stuff (Like Soulfire and Death Ward from the Book of Exalted Deeds; at epic levels, you're going to pretty much get hit no matter what). |

A bit of assistance in that aspect and I'm sure myself or other community members could much better help you. Off the top of my head, though, I'll agree with Taeldrin, a blinking weapon would be most useful for you. If you don't mind being somewhat cheap a Starmantle Cloak (from Exalted Deeds) would allow you to shrug off a good number of attacks, especially if you have improved evasion (if you're going to go with this, speak with your DM first, as it's a somewhat cheesy endeavor). Of course, taking this route does drop the use of your 'cloak (shoulders)' slot and there are a good number of very useful items that go into said slot. -Gene |

| deadkoo09-28-07, 05:59 PM | Improved feint is a rogues best friend. also, if your goin for SA damage, and you got the feats, then go for dual wielding, Rapier short sword if you can convince your DM that the rapier counts as a smaller weapon, rapier dagger if you can't. the extra attacks are just plain ridiculous. also, go one lvl barbarian. the added movement and rage (mainly for HP) and +2 to fort can get you out of a lot of tough spots.. also, why in tiamats name do you NOT have use magical device?! |

Epic feat at 21st level: Lingering Damage. ROB There are two PrCs that can do it as a free action: The Invisible Blade and the Scarlet Corsair. The Invisible Blade I'd recommend for this epic rogue; the Scarlet Corsair isn't all that great otherwise. |

Agreed, but isn't the enchantment called Blurstrike or are there two enchantments with the same effect? |
