I think there's not an official ruling about Epic level and ToB... advancing the ToB class beyond 20 should be easy, the problem is that there's no rules for something beyond typical maneuvers.
What I'm trying to do is create a system for epic maneuvers, but I'm not really sure where to start.

What should epic maneuvers be able to do?
How many times at day can they be use? Unlimited like regular maneuvers?
How many epic maneuvers can a character know?
Should there be also epic stances?

Any ideas?

If a normal stance can be used unlimited amounts of times per day, then epic ones should to. As for the how many they know, there would be no limit since epic characters can go as high in levels as they play. There should be epic forms of everything, since we don't want them to run out of interesting or fun things to explore. For what they would do... I have no clue.

Tie it to Martial Lore like Epic Spells are tied to Spellcraft, then start figuring out the seeds.
Style seeds? Style rudra?

Some thoughts on the subject:

Epic Stances:
Obviously they would be better than normal stances, so to prevent normal stances becoming obsolete, they should be usable in addition to a normal stance, or else be difficult to maintain (swift action every round, for instance).

Epic Manuevers:
As a base, I'd go with a recovery time of 15 minutes, so basically 1/encounter, and have a limited number preparable, based on level. I'm not so sure about doing them epic spellcasting style though - it seems like they would be harder to balance, and the factors would need a complete redesign. Might be easier to simply make a good selection of Epic manuevers with suggestions for scaling.

An Alternative to Epic Manuevers/Stances:
Instead of making new, more powerful manuevers, you could have feats/class abilities that enhanced your use of existing manuevers, usable X/encounter like manuevers are.

For Instance:
Twin Swords Strike - Activate two strikes at once, intiating time is the longer of the two.
Lightning Blade - Activate a strike as a free action.
Arc of Destruction - Hit up to three adjacent targets with one strike.
Perfected Endurance - Use a boost as a stance (lasts for the encounter).
No Openings - Make as many counters a round as you have AoOs.
Eye of the Hurricane - Make a full attack, intiating a standard-action or swift-action manuever for each attack.
One Strike - Expend extra manuevers to boost the save DC/attack roll for a strike.
Deadly Sacrifice - Deny your foe a save against a strike by taking the effects yourself (cannot be resistant or immune).

I had the idea of more powerful manuevers, of all kinds (stances, strikes, boosts and so on) that scale in power on the same scale that normal manuevers do (9th level manuevers being around the same level of power as 6th level spells) but you have to take them as feats, but are accesible as epic bonus feats.
