I may have missed one somewhere, but if I haven't what kind of class abilities do you think it should have? What prerequeisites should it have? I'm not looking for someone to make the class for me (though that would be nice), just ideas. What would make this Epic? |

This could be a feat as opposed to a class feature to give them control over when. Prereqs would be existing Weapon Bond class feature. Maybe several total that brought it up to 2d6, 3d6, 4d6 5d6. Increasing magical defense could also be an option as a feat as well. Additional uses of the spell turning ability. But that should be clarified to be an immediate action. At higher level, they should get the ability to use it once as an immediate and again as a free action - so they can counter multispell. Auravision is Arcance Sight - so maybe something granting Greater Arcane Sight, or True Seeing, or both eventually. make Blank Thoughts become fullscale mind blank, and then the nondetection is moot. In addition, I would add something like a Dispelling Strike - attack a creature and get a chance to dispel its active spells. I don't know if it should be 1 spell or all spells, or a scale that slides up to that. Also, what Dispel to use? Character level could be very powerful, but is probably necessary. I would make something like Epic Dispelling Strike required to get above +20, and that alone could dispel Epic spells. You could also add in chain features to that - so you could add an additional target to the dispelling strike at -10 CL, once per time you get this ability. Those are just some of my thoughts. I think he should also be less magical and maybe even get an antimagic aura in time. maybe these are all feats you can choose, vs set class features you have to get at a certain time. ROB |
