I recently took Deflect Arrows and I'm quite tempted to pick up Exceptional Deflection (there's this Disintegrate-happy war-wizard who I stole from, and I want to see the look on his face when I nab the one spell he can get to hit my Touch AC straight out of the air), but I'm curious what other people think I should go for. |

Some other good feats would be Epic Skill Focus (if you're a skill monkey), Superior Initiative, Epic Speed, Legendary Leaper (if you cannot fly or if your ground speed is faster than your air speed), or Dire Charge. |

And it doesn't really stack cleric levels, and would be more a replacement for your Rogue levels than anything. But anyway, on Epic Feats - I assume you don't have Slippery Mind, so you can't take Dextrous Fort/Will. Superior Init is great for a Rogue, because you can get in Sneak attacks, or get away. I really like Exceptional Deflection, especially since you already put the effort into getting Deflect Arrows, so it is a way to make that more useful. Epic Dodge will be nice one day, but you need to be 27th level. Reflect Arrows is nice, but nicer after Exceptional Deflection first. I guess you also won't qualify for Sneak Attack of Opportunity, which would go well with Improved Combat Reflexes. I don't think you have enough rogue levels to get Lingering Damage either - because it takes Crippling Strike. I say go with Excep. Deflection. It will make for a nice surprise - then Reflect next time. ROB |
