Epic Spell Question. [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-16-07, 08:27 PM Could I use Seed: Energy to create a freestanding humanoid shape of an energy type, along with Seed: Life to make that energy a premanant Creature?
If so, would I have to reuse the entire spell once the energy left, or could I re-use the Energy seed to resummon the smae energy in order to create the same Animate energy?

04-18-07, 05:01 PM I like this idea. Essentially you are creating an Elemental from nothing - so I don't see why it shouldn't work. You would have to play around with a few ad hoc adjustments to come up with the right balance. Look at Origin of the Species for ideas, though that spell is hugely overpriced.

04-19-07, 08:33 PM No. You would use the permanent factor which multiplies Spellcraft DC by 5. This would make it last until someone dispels it, and would not make it a creature.

Check Origin of the Species for guidelines on creating animate life.
