I'm CN so I should get a Quasit but I'm going to see if my DM will let me do some roleplayin and make some diplomacy checks to convince an Imp to join me. Once I get into the higher levels will he just be a weight on my foot or are they actually useful past 20? |

At the master's 21st level, and every ten levels thereafter, the feat Familiar Spell is granted as a bonus feat (even if one does not make the prerequisites for it)! Not to mention that natural armor and intelligence continue to progress as normal. Of course, a familiar's usefulness is only limited by the player's imagination! Trust me on this on, familiar's are A-OK in Epic! Check out the SRD for more information! |

| Rickiel09-11-07, 06:21 PM | If the master is a Sorcerer with 10 Intelligence, it's a good thing to have an intelligent (and benign) adviser. It's also good for Wizards since it means that there's SOMEONE in your world with whom to have and hold an intelligent conversation. :) |
