Multiclassing and Spell Progression [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-23-07, 12:10 PM Say for example my character is a Level 10 Cleric/ Level 10 Wizard, when I achieve level 21 and choose to be a Level 10 Cleric/Level 11 Wizards, do I gain the spells per day of an 11th level wizard? The rules seem very vague when it comes to multi-classed characters.

05-24-07, 04:41 PM The rules on not gaining new spells per day refer to class level, not character level. Otherwise, a 20th level fighter that took one level of wizard would get no spells per day. If you use PrCs or other casters, you keep getting spells per day up to the maximum for that class (10th for most PrCs, 20th for base classes).
