From SRD:
EPIC WEAPON BASE PRICE
To find the base price of an epic magic weapon, roll on Table: Weapons. Note that the +6 to +10 rows apply only to weapons that provide an enhancement bonus of +6 to +10 or weapons with a single special ability whose market price modifier is +6 to +10. Magic weapons with a total effective bonus of +6 to +10 but that have an enhancement bonus of +5 or less and special abilities whose individual market price modifiers are +5 or less use the table for nonepic magic weapons to determine price.

Ok, there's a thing I'm not really sure of.
For example: I have a Chaotic Flaming Longsword +5 and I want to improve it to +6. Have I to pay the price of a 8th level weapon minus 7th one or 6th level minus 5th one?
I've looked around the board, but found no answers.

new Weapon (+9 total Bonus Epic) 1.620.000 gp
Old Weapon (+8 total Bonus non-Epic) -128.000 gp
-----------------------------------------------------------
Total cost to create 1.492.000 gp

PS:
Chaotic: +2 Bonus
Flaming: +1 Bonus
You have to pay the price of a 9th level weapon minus 8th one.
