| *Slayer of Duelist*03-05-07, 03:18 PM | Im not sure if this is the right place, but whatever... this is an epic level villian... Im creating a campaing that invovles hell very strongly and focuses around a new archdevil who I have currently named Serdual. I wanted an opinion on his aspect, who is like all Archdevils a unique devil. He happens to use warlock invocations as the main brunt of his powers and has an interesting artifact, though I have yet to finish it yet. So... Here is his template. Aspect of Serdual Init +9 Senses see through illusions, magical darkness, shapechangers, etc as true seeing Languages Celestial, Common, Draconic, Infernal, Telepathy 100ft AC 45, touch 24, flat-footed 36 (+9 Dex, +5 Deflection, +21 natural) hp 370 (30 HD); Regeneration 7; DR 20/good and silver Immune Fire, Poison Resist Acid 10, Cold 10, Electricity 10, Sonic 10; SR 38 Fort +26 Ref +27 Will +27 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Speed 40 ft. fly 100ft. Knowledge (Religon) +29, Listen +27, Sense Motive +52, Spell Craft +34, Spot +27, Survival +12, Use Magic Device +32 Devilish Fell Flight (Su): Serdual’s fell flight is unique in that it is natural extension of his body. This appears as a shadow pair of demon like wings, only a closer look reveals that is is actual many bat shaped shadows that form them. This grants him additional flight speed as well as prevents his wings from being dispelled in any way. His wings only fade away at his own will (temporally) or in death. Regeneration (Su): Good weapons, and spells and effects with the good descriptor , deal normal damage to Serdual. If Serdual loses a limb or body part, the lost portion regrows in 1d6 minutes. Serdual can reattach the severed member instantly by holding it to the stump. Summon Baatezu: Twice per day, Serdual can automatically summon five osyluths or barbazu; three erineyes, cornugons, or gelugons; or one pit fiend. This ability is equivalent of a 9th level spell (Cr 20th). Circlet of the Blood Tyrant: This black circlet is stained with unholy runes and a blood groove that allows the wearer to manipulate and extract blood like few others can. It’s based a number of charges obtained from dead victims bodies. Every 130lbs of a humanoid’s body contains about a gallon of blood, and one gallon of blood is equal to one charge. The circlet automatically draws out all the blood from dead bodies within 20ft of the wearer as a free action at the beginning of their turn in a round, though the ability can be suppressed as a free action until next round. As the circlet gains charges it also gains new abilities, though if the circlet loses charges afterwards is still retains them. Currently the Aspects circlet has 40,000 charges and the following abilities. *As a standard action, the circlet spews fourth a 30 ft cone of blood, discharging 100 gallons (100 charges). Creatures in the effected area must make a fortitude save (DC 25) or be nauseated. The expelled blood floods outward filling the space like any other liquid, *As a standard action, the crown can expend 5 Charges to cast Bloodfire on a single creature in range (CL 10th) *Blood spewed from the Crown is considered befouled, as the spell. *Blood can be manipulated as the control water spell at will *As an immediate action, blood can be coagulated to form walls or to imprison those within it. Those trapped may make a strength check to break free (DC 10 +5 for every two feet of blood trapped in). Those fully submerged are also subject to suffocation. A wall of coagulated blood has hardness 8 and 8 hp per inch. *The crown can draw back blood produced by the circlet as normal. Coagulated blood does not apply. I was aiming for a CR of somewhere around 23 to 25 for the base creature, though im not sure what the circlet adds.. Look about right? |
| *Slayer of Duelist*03-08-07, 10:07 AM | Updated... Got the artifact done for now and fixed some errors. Alot of people have looked, but no replies. Maybe this was the wrong place for this... |
| *Slayer of Duelist*03-13-07, 07:00 PM | *Bump* Well look at that, a week with no replies. Guess this was either the wrong place or nobody is interested... |
| Kain Darkwind03-13-07, 07:28 PM | You might have had better luck on the Planes/Deities board, which is more frequented. I like the integrated warlock levels, I did something similar for my version of Grazzt. He should probably have a spell-like ability list at least equal to a pit fiend's. For instance, at will blasphemy. I'd say he's about a CR 22, maybe 23. |
