I've only played epic once before when I was about 17 and I know we did it all wrong because we had all just gotten into the game not long before and the only one who, supposedly, knew how the game worked was the DM. We now know that he was just making up the rules as he went along and stealing all his story lines from the previous nights anime block. But I digress, my question is if I build a Beguiler15/Fatespinner5 and I want to take Beguiler to 20 will I get the abilities from the last 5 levels of Beguiler once I take them after 20? I ask because I know a lot of base classes have epic progressions and even though the Beguiler doesn't I don't know if a class stops gaing it's normal progression of abilities after 20th level.

you get the 5 lvls of beuiler as normal.

with the except of BAB(which you don't gain anymore, instead you get the epic bonus that is a misc. bonus to your attack rolls)

I think there is also something with saves, not sure. read the epic lvl info on this url:http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20/article/srd35

also, that url has info for all 3.5 stuff:)

p.s. the core anyways

and you get epic feats now. HURRAY!

The epic progression for the class will not begin until you take the 21st level of Beguiler. You will get the class features as normal; your BAB and saves will revert to the epic increases.
