Paragon Dragonborn? [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-24-07, 11:31 PM I play a dragonborn paladin in a game and the idea of a paragon dragonborn came up (I forget the exact context of how it came to be). A consesus on whether something like that is possible. And if so, how? Would the base race have to be paragon before performing the Rite of Rebirth? Or would a dragonborn somehow become paragon later on from some means (divine intervention, magic experiment gone wrong, bribing the DM :P ).
Also, what would be the LA of a paragon character? There doesn't seem to be one listed.

EDIT: Whoops, saw the comment about LA for paragon in the Epic FAQ.

03-25-07, 06:40 PM Well I would probably turn the character into a full dragon, rather than a paragon dragonborn.

03-26-07, 12:11 AM It's definitely possible. I do not see why it'd be "impossible", as something granted later on, or at the start as a kind of deific blessing

03-27-07, 11:24 AM Sorry for responding so late. Dragonborn can have coloration of any of the metallic dragons, so any of those would do. Figure up the base ELC of the dragon you want, then add your paladin levels on. Or give your dragon the ELC you want, and give it the abilities of a paladin with a class level equal to half your HD or something similar.
