| Kihon03-19-08, 02:23 PM | I'm crafting an Epic version of Permancy. I'm just wondering what you would all include in the spell? How good can I go on my protections? Stone Skin (when it goes down it's only supressed until cast anew the next round), Displacement, Blur, Mirror Image (supressed until cast anew the next round), Epic mage armor, Epic shield, Protection from Evil, Endure Elements, etc... Anyone came up with a good 'protection' epic version of what could be made permanent? Know what I mean... |
| Tshern03-20-08, 08:29 AM | Couldn't you just pick up the old Epic mage armor, multiply its spellcraft DC by four to make it permanent? |
| Kihon03-20-08, 10:05 AM | Yes, but I want a whole bunch of effects with but one spell. And the bigger protection the better. |
| Tshern03-20-08, 10:25 AM | Ah, now I get it. Hmm, I see what I can do when I have more time. |
| Nezkrul03-21-08, 12:28 AM | you'd be better off making long lasting (not permanent) Fortify Seed and Protection Seed spells. They'll most likely be cheaper and better in the long run. I always make my own Epic Mage armor spell that gives +50 armor bonus, with 10d6 backlash that lasts about 2 days so I dont have to cast it as often. Not much more expensive than the ELH version at +20 with no mitigation. |

It is only a couple of paragraphs, so worth looking at in the store if you get a chance. Basically it lets you make certain spell effects permanent on a creature or area - or grant access to certain spells. ROB |
