DIVINE SUN MASTERY [SDA]
Prerequisites: Cha 30, Sun domain
Benefit: The deity is immune to the effects of fire and extreme heat, as well as to any effect with the [light] or [darkness] descriptors.

The deity cannot be blinded by any means, and does not suffer miss chances from concealment, though total concealment applies as normal.

The deity’s Divine Aura is considered true sunlight, and so affects creatures such as some undead appropriately. The Divine Aura deals double damage to all undead (from both its area and the rays it can produce). All spells with the [darkness] descriptor are automatically dispelled in the area of the Divine Aura.

The deity gains a competence bonus equal to its divine rank on attack rolls, damage rolls, and Armour Class as long as both the deity and its opponent are in an area of direct sunlight (the deity’s Divine Aura does not count for this purpose).

The deity can duplicate any spell with the light descriptor or with the word “light” or “sun” in its name as a standard action.

What do you think? To me it looks like it may be a little strong (see Divine Fire Mastery), but I'm not sure.

I would appreciate your input.

This looks a little strong to me for a mastery SDA. However that could be just me. I ended up dividing up a Mastery SDA into two SDAs for a campaign that I ran in order to fit in all of the effects that I wanted to achieve.
Also if you're looking for another take on a sun-based SDA you might check out this thread: http://community.dicefreaks.com/viewtopic.php?t=884&highlight=custom+sda

There are two pretty good ones in there (Solar Fire & Principality of Dawn
to be precise). I did not want to quote Merc without his permission.

Mmm, I was worried because it basically does most of what Divine Fire Mastery does plus a little extra, though light is a little more situational than fire.

Those other abilities are interesting but don't really reflect what I want to do with this SDA - I'm not interested in a new attack form, for instance, and making a deity's Divine Aura into sunlight instead of giving them a new aura is more elegant IMO.
