| Morgengrauen06-15-07, 05:06 AM | Which protection spells should villain NPCs have (mage/cleric/druid etc) ? What are standard spells (permanent or non permanent)? Thanks for help. |
| BillTheManiac06-15-07, 06:42 AM | Death ward to protect against death effects. Just general protection spells (prot. from energy). Epic spells for massive bonuses. Contingencies for when they die (true res) or almost die (teleport/heal) |
| Issabella06-15-07, 10:03 AM | you can never go wrong with a freedom of movement, should be a mandatory enchant for all people in epic, followed closely by an item of fortification if wealth allows. |
| Avatar of Kokusho06-15-07, 12:10 PM | My latest guy has: Death Ward Divine Power Righteous Wrath of the Faithful Ironguard ...and a SR of 56. This one will be fun to take out. |
| bluemage5506-15-07, 09:43 PM | Standard defensive spells to have constant or use-activated on items: true seeing foresight death ward mind blank freedom of movement remove paralysis restoration greater teleport shapechange Standard protective items: ring of universal energy immunity animated shield of heavy fortification periapt of proof against poison periapt of health necklace of adaptation All of the above are from the SRD only. Not all of them are useful to all characters, as some characters might spend the wealth more effectively elsewhere. |
