ZiggZagg 08-10-07, 12:02 PM	Hey everyone! Has anyone here figured out or drawn up a savage progression for a red dragon beyond 20th level? If not, has anyone at least attempted what their ECL is at the progressive age categories? For the level I am attempting (ECL 40) I have calculated the Dragon to be about Old to make its ECL that high. (Actually, I put it at 39, but close enough). Any help or guidance into this would be greatly appreciated. I don't usually deal too much with epic.
rob_douglas 08-10-07, 05:29 PM	I would use something similar to the Silver Dragon, which I developed from the published information: Silver Age Category LA HD ECL Source 1 +4 7 11 Monster Manual 2 +4 10 14 Monster Manual 3 +5 13 18 Monster Manual 4 +5 16 21 5 +6 19 25 6 +6 22 28 7 +7 25 32 8 +7 28 35 9 +8 31 39 10 +8 34 42 Epic Level Update booklet 11 +9 37 46 12 +9 40 49 Being that the Red is larger than the Silver sooner, it gets a higher bonus earlier: +4, +5, +6 at categories 1, 2, 3. They should gain them +1/2 age categories after a while. The silver is weaker early on, but gains on the Red at the end. So I think this would work: Red Age Category LA HD ECL Source 1 +4 7 11 Monster Manual 2 +5 10 15 Monster Manual 3 +6 13 19 Monster Manual 4 +6 16 22 5 +7 19 26 6 +7 22 29 7 +7 25 32 8 +8 28 36 9 +8 31 39 10 +8 34 42 11 +9 37 46 12 +9 40 49 ROB
